NATIONAL “TAKE YOUR DOG TO WORK” DAY
Kormotech mounted the Take the Dog to Work campaign for the first time in Ukraine in 2013. Initially, the companies that took part were based in Lviv.
Kormotech mounted the Take the Dog to Work campaign for the first time in Ukraine in 2013. Initially, the companies that took part were based in Lviv. The event caused quite a stir, and interest in the event has grown every year since, among not only owners but also employers. In recent years, a record number of participants have joined the campaign – over 500 companies throughout the country.
The tradition of taking dogs to work began 19 years ago in the United States. Kormotech is continuing to organize the event in Ukraine to make it a worldwide initiative. The project supports the development of pet-friendly infrastructures in Ukrainian cities and promotes comfortable conditions for pets in offices, with the aim of changing the status of our four-legged animals in society.
In 2020, Kormotech and the CLUB 4 PAWS brand decided to make this a permanent practice at pet-friendly Ukrainian businesses and organizations. It is also how the Paws in the Office project came about, aimed at helping companies adopt a dog-friendly approach on an ongoing basis. Find out more here.
