In 2014, Kormotech launched a nationwide Don’t Leave Us in the ATO initiative, aimed at supporting the owners and guardians of abandoned animals in the war zone. We supplied food to the front and to frontline zones: Volnovakha, Rubizhne, Dobropillia, Bakhmut, Dimitrov, Petrivka, Pokrovsk, Donetsk, Verbove, Makiyivka, Gorlivka, Yasinuvata, Luhansk, Novoazovsk, Mariupol, Novotroitske, Berdyansk, and other cities. Over the period, we sent some 40 tonnes of cat and dog food to occupied territories. Kormotech also provided advice given by veterinarians and animal rights activists to all those unhappy about the abandoned animals.
Since 2017, the project has been transformed into a permanent cooperation project with cat and dog shelters and animal volunteers all over Ukraine. A loyalty programme has been set up, you can find out more here.
