Exhibitions return: Kormotech at Zoomark International 2021
In November, our team visited the exhibition Zoomark International in the Italian city of Bologna. This year it is the only offline exhibition in Europe.
More than 20,000 people attended the event. A total of 450 manufacturers from 40 countries presented their goods and services, and the exhibition area occupied 55,000 square meters.
The Kormotech stand covered an area of 84 square meters. We presented superpremium diets from Optimeal, a new line of Optimeal Beauty, and CLUB 4 PAWS premium pet food.
Zoomark 2021 is the first big industry party in Europe after the lockdown. We have become a truly global company by marketing our products in the EU and exporting feed to the United States during this time.
Zoomark International was initially planned to be postponed to May 2022, but due to the cancellation of the InterZoo exhibition, we decided to hold the event this year.
The organizers approached the quarantine responsibly: they monitored the mask regime, checked vaccination certificates or new negative tests for coronavirus, and increased the distance between the stands. There were field laboratories at the entrance so that visitors could take tests during all exhibition days.
Kormotech is participating in Zoomark International for the second time. For us, these are new international contracts that will increase sales. Participation in the exhibition allowed our team to keep track of world trends in cat and dog food products. We managed to hold more than 60 meetings with distributors, suppliers of raw materials, and suppliers of packaging materials, as well as get more than 90 contacts for potential cooperation.
Zoomark International this year cooperated with LEIDAA — the Italian association for the protection of animals and the environment, which supports shelters across the country. Kormotech made many dogs happy: all the products from the show stand—a whole tray of Optimeal and CLUB 4 PAWS products — went to animals without owners.
The next Zoomark International exhibition will take place in May 2023. Meanwhile, Kormotech is preparing for InterZoo in May 2022.
Zoomark International is an international exhibition of goods for animals, which was started in 1985 and is held every two years. Developers and sellers of pet food, pet care products, and health products — as well as trade associations and publishers — present themselves here.
